    We had solar panels installed by Northwind Solar in 2022. At the time of installation, our roof was inspected and we were told no repair or replacement was necessary. I specifically asked what would happen when the roof eventually needed replacement and was told the panels would need to be removed and reinstalled, which had seemed to be blown off as no big deal. Fast forward to 2026. Our roof is now 20 years old, and 4 skylights have begun to leak. Multiple professionals have recommended replacing the skylights and the roof at the same time, which is reasonable. When we contacted Northwind Sol

    Horrible customer service would love to share the response, but I feel that’s inappropriate. If you demand professionalism this is not the EPC/ company for you!

    The worst customer service after the installation.. we have been without solar power for 2 months and nobody seems to want to handle it for us. Extremely disappointed in this company. We should have shopped around. I would suggest you do the same.

    I would like to extend my appreciation to Durand at Northwind for his assistance. He was very helpful and provided valuable information regarding the issue we were experiencing with our small solar setup. Fully recommend!

    Great company, with great people to work with. I used AL to learn about products and a ran 3 proposals through it to learn what questions to ask. AI reported that the Northwind Solar proposal was the best. It said the components were very high quality and the cost was a very good buy. Communication was prompt and clear. I could understand what was going on every step of the process. .Now I may add reflective rock under the array to boost output, or at least test if it will. I really enjoyed this experience. My dogs had fun with them too.

    Northwind constructed a rooftop solar project for my firm about 8 years ago with 320 panels on a flat roof, and it has operated well since. Their quality and professionalism is top notch. I was involved more recently in another project they built near Madison on a ground mount racks, again they did a bang up job and have another happy customer/owner. They have a great staff and are committed to environmental responsibility as well as providing quality jobs for their workers. What's not to love!?
