  Roy put in a gas insert 20 yrs. ago. He came out a few times to address problems. Glass clouded up and it was very hot on other side of wall. He said, "It's normal and safe!". We never used it because my husband wasn't convinced it was safe. I decided I wanted it fixed. Fordens came out today. It is not safe. Dry wall only on the backside. The baffel was removed and missing parts. Roy did such a hack job that the only solution is an electric fireplace with no heat. I'm so thankful my husband turned off the pilot light 20 yrs ago.

  Today I called and talked to Brian the scheduler. My requirement was to start the pilot light of our Lopi Berkshire Stove. Our time requirement was to have the task completed prior to 19 Dec. He checked his scheduling book and determined there was no time to satisfy us until after Christmas. I emphasized that the requirement was just to start the pilot light. He checked his book again and came back with the same answer. Again, I pointed out it is just a pilot light. I must have hit a nerve at this point. His words and voice inflection displayed his annoyance with me and my call. He emphasized

  The guys at NOSTALGICS are THE BEST!!! I highly recommend them. They are reliable and honest. Roy returned my call with 15 minutes and got me on the schedule right away to have my fireplace insert serviced. Angel the service tech was polite, user friendly and very thoughtful about minimizing a mess and cleaning up afterwards. He was thorough and conscientious.

  Serviced and repaired our Superior Gas Fireplace. Roy is the owner and is very knowledgeable. Angel did the cleaning and repairs needed. Thank you Nostalgic for giving excellent service.

  Nostalgics- outstanding continued service after installation - I have had a few questions after stove installed 2 years ago - they have come out and serviced without hesitation - Roy is a great character, honest and forthright and will make all efforts to assure that you are happy with his team and product. We purchased the HearthStone Bari wood stove - an outstanding stove that takes up a small space and heats our home quickly with little wood use . I shared w my wife that I use more wood for a SM style bbq or pizza oven cookout for 4 people than I use to heat our house for hours. All around
