Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Utah. Across Utah, 100 of the 167 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 6 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Joel at Off Grid Solar installed an inverter and lithium battery system for us over the winter of 2024. We are entirely off grid, after buying our house we were having power outages, he was able to act quickly to install a new inverter and he replaced our gel mat batteries with Lithium. He is very responsive, super knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile to make things work. He’s also a welder fabricator, he built a steel pergola for us this summer. I highly recommend Joel, there are not enough stars to rate him, so I’ll give him a ten out of ten. Friendly, efficient, and fair.

Amazing company, their warranty protection is wonderful and they get the job done well!

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Cedar City is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
