Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Michigan. Across Michigan, 49 of the 84 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 9 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Rick and the other folks over at Orange Cell have been excellent and tireless. I contracted them to do a large (~19kW) roof-top solar install on a new-home construction. As with any large construction project, there were delays related to parts, availability, etc. Even so, Rick was ALWAYS available to chat, whether just for updates, troubleshooting (mostly schedule related), or really anything. The roof-top installation is excellent and went off without a hitch. The house-internal portion (including inverter install, DC lines, AC connection, etc) also went off extremely well. I would go as far

Amazing customer service from start to finish. Not knowing much about solar or the process, Orange solar staff made me feel at ease. In addition, worked some other companies and felt Orange solar was superior comparatively. They were up front and honest from the beginning putting myself the customer first and not their profits. Would recommend Orange solar to anyone looking to be educated on the best system that meet their specific needs. Great people, great pricing, and great customer service. Thank you Orange Solar!

Very professional with all the work. They work very hard for you and really find out the need that you needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for solar companies. Not high pressure sales very understanding regarding about the need.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
