The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 19 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.
Every company we hold in the Springfield area, on one axis
Each mark is one company we hold in the Springfield area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Ozark Mountain Offgrid is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

If you're serious about off-grid solar, stop what you're doing and call Matt. We came to Ozark Mountain Offgrid as complete beginners trying to understand how to build out solar systems for our mobile command trailers. Matt didn't just answer our questions, he carved out hours of his time to teach us from the ground up. During our virtual training session he literally walked his phone around an active solar trailer build happening in his shop in real time so our team could see exactly what installation looks like in practice. That's not something you get from a vendor. That's someone who genui

Matt is a great guy, he set me up with a fully operating 64 KWH power storage system, coupled with a 15K Sol-Ark inverter/ 15k solar array panels for all my power needs of my new home and shop. I was very impressed with Matts eminence knowlege and extra efforts answering all of my inquiries. The warranty is exellent and delivery by Paul right to my shop door was superb !! I highly recomend this company, they are top of the line and very ethical too.

Great company to work with. Matt is highly knowledgeable on the products he uses and tests them on his own off grid property before selling to customers. Highly recommend for your off grid projects!

What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Its website also mentions financing, warranty and family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
- It posts on Instagram, Pinterest, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
