Its one and two star share is 12 points above the typical installer in the Jacksonville area. Across Florida, 126 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 49 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Jacksonville area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Parrot Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

My Powerwall went out back in November of last year. After realizing and contacting Tesla, representative at Tesla contacted Parrot Solar on my behalf to replace my Powerwall. Until February, there were no updates and when I contacted Tesla again, they stated that Parrot Solar received replacement Powerwall and I should contact them. After I contacted Parrot Solar, they were fast to send someone to look at my Powerwall. Technicians who came to evaluate my Powerwall said that everything seems OK and I should expect updates from Parrot Solar. Now it is June and even if one of my Powerwalls is go

If negative stars were an option, I’d certainly choose that. Took over a year for basic install while somehow avoiding any concept of basic communication as a business and lacking any form of accountability. I’d avoid doing business with them if you are able.

Be careful and check around -- it's been a year now since installation and we still cannot use anything because the transfer and permitting to electric company is not complete. So remember, once the installation is complete and you pay all your money, the job is still not done because they have to finish getting it approved and working with your electric company.

Parrot Solar took longer than expected and communicated poorly. Nine panels and an inverter, no storage, took 12.3 months from signing contract to completion. During the installation a lack of communication was frustrating. After completion, my negative review instigated some follow-up communication which inspired me to increase my initial rating and amend my comments. Updates during the project required me to contact Parrot Solar, usually multiple times, before I'd get a response. Many delays were caused by a lack of attention with the city's returns during permitting. Thus far, the proposal

I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience with Samm Fisher at Parrot Solar! Samm has been incredibly responsive, professional, and thorough throughout the entire process. As I’m selling my home in Florida, the buyer’s lender requested documentation confirming that I had a zero balance on my solar panels, which were installed in 2020. Samm went above and beyond to create an official document on Parrot Solar letterhead confirming that my balance was paid in full. She also personally followed up to make sure the solar warranty is transferable to the new homeowners. That kind of foll

I needed my solar panels removed and reinstalled as I having my roof replaced. My original solar installer had been purchased and subsequently closed so I was pleased to find Parrot. They were professional and worked well with my roofer to coordinate the work.

I wanted to take a second and leave a review for Tommy and his team at parent solar. Long story short I worked with Mike in sales over a three year period. Deciding if I wanted to go solar or not Mike was diligent about following up periodically and finally I decided to go with a Tesla power wall. The team was great with the install work was very neat after the power was up and running. I talked to Cameron and decided that it would be beneficial to add the solar part to the deal the whole process and end took about 2 1/2 months with inspections, etc., but I do want to say the experience workin

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
