Solar Energy Labs

Each mark is one company we hold in Jacksonville whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Energy Labs is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Took close to 2 years to finish the project. Owner of company also promised me a refund of $5,000 dollars for a dispute from the project, but after the project was completed, he never followed up on this refund. Very shady. Not to be trusted company. On a daily basis has no idea what's going on while your project is in progress. Would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Also the solar panels have under produced the past 1.5 years from what they quoted in their proposal.

Purchased all the supplies. It then took 2 weeks of nearly daily followup to get someone to show up. They show up, spend 2 minutes outside the house and say they won't be able to do an ideal install and refused the job. The conversation literally lasted under 30 seconds where I tried to explain the direction the sun hits the house (could not see it because it was cloudy). They were not interested in what I had to say just cut me off and refused.

After about 2 months getting my bill from Clay County, and countless web searches later, I can make this review without being scathingly mad. The overall panels are very high quality, so it's not about the solar panels itself that I'm reviewing. The company was okay overall, some communication issues but otherwise, in that regard they where fine. My real issue is that they did not tell us that Clay had changed their metering policy as of 05/22, and this made a huge difference on the bill I get from Clay every month. To be honest, they should have disclosed this, but the salesman really did the

Carlos and his team were prompt and did the work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Solar Energy Labs to anyone looking to install or have solar maintenance completed. Thank you so much for getting my system back to 100%.

Incredible customer service! I moved into a house with solar panels and the system was not working. When I called Solar Energy Labs, Ashley, the Operations Manager, answered. She was professional and patient (I knew nothing about solar panels). She offered to check out the system over the weekend before sending a technician and charging a truck rollout fee. She did just that. Got the system connected and did not charge anything even though she spent an hour in the hot sun on a Sunday. I am very thankful for Ashley’s help! I will be a loyal customer.

Solar Labs was amazing! Ashley and her team were efficient and thorough throughout the whole process to get our system up and running in no time. I cannot recommend working with them enough!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Financing

“products and solutions, custom financing options and progressive sustainability…”

• Warranty

“craftsmanship, materials and warranty. They meet all US and local codes.”

• Established

“in the solar business in Jacksonville since 1975. Our employees have experience in all…”

Its website also mentions years in business and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.
