Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in the Chicago area. Across Illinois, 104 of the 183 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 64 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We went back and forth for weeks on whether solar even made sense for us, and PB never pushed. They started with an audit so we knew what our roof could actually handle before we spent a dime. That mattered to me because I'd read a lot of stories about people getting talked into systems that were way bigger than they needed. Scheduling the install was simple and they let us know when things were happening without me having to chase anyone down. By the time the panels went up I already knew what kind of production to expect, and a few months in the numbers are lining up with what they told us.

had PB put a full solar setup on our roof and its been running great. the panels look way cleaner than i expected, they didnt just slap them up there they actually laid it out so it wasnt an eyesore from the street. our summer bills dropped a ton which is the whole reason we did it. what really stood out was the guys explaining how the panels tie into everything so i understood what was happening instead of just nodding along. when we were getting quotes around Deerfield they were the ones who took time to walk the roof and check the angles before throwing a number at us. no pushy sales stuff

Our electric bills had been climbing for years and after another rough summer of running the AC nonstop I finally decided to look into solar. The problem was I had gotten quotes before from other places and they all felt like timeshare pitches. PB was different. The rep came out, looked at the roof, looked at a year of my electric bills, and gave me an honest assessment of what I could expect to offset. He didn't try to sell me a bigger system than I needed. They handled all the permitting and the back and forth with the utility which was a whole process I did not want to deal with. When I was

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
