  I had been looking into getting solar for a bit and was recommended Ailey as their office is only a few blocks away from my home. Given the reputation of some of the solar companies, I wanted someone that was local and I thought would be around for a while. So I reached out to Ailey. During my initial consultation with Tony, I was informed that there was a $750 site fee which would cover a home visit and a comprehensive engineering report so we could design a final project.   I think it is pretty inappropriate to solicit business by taping a notice over the handles of people's front doors. I can't imagine a truly reputable company ding such a thing. i would post zero stars if I could.

  I received seven quotes from multiple solar companies, before deciding to go with Ailey. I chose Ailey partly because they are a local company and wanted somebody I could rely on after the state tax incentives are gone, and the out of state guys are gone. But I also felt like they provided the best combination of price vs quality, and they are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, and guided me through the process. The install went smoothly and I was impressed with the crew they sent out. Overall great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

  Ailey Solar installed panels on my garage in the Chicago suburbs. Prior to the install, their team was very thorough in explaining the terms and what I could expect. Their install team were absolute pros and got the job done in timely and unobtrusive manner. I've been very happy with my solar panels since and my savings on the ComEd bill.
