  My experience started out positively. The salesperson was responsive, and Photon Brothers came to our home and completed a site visit for a solar panel upgrade and whole-home battery estimate. I waited a week for the proposal and when I reached out was told I’d receive it the next day along with a phone call, but I never received either. After waiting several weeks and sending a follow-up email with no response, I finally called the office. The salesperson said he had already sent the proposal, that it must not have gone through, and promised to resend it within two hours and call or text to c

  In March 2023, I contracted with Photon Brothers to install solar panels and a Tesla battery at my home. I paid them $30,000. Their contract included a ten year warranty on the system which they refused to honor. Following is a summary of my experience with Photon Brothers: In September 2024, solar production began shutting down and the warning light on the battery started flashing. For more than a year, I fought a losing battle trying to get Photon Brothers to fix my system. By September 2025, Photon Brothers had stopped answering my emails.   Let me start by saying, this review could have been avoided. We emailed photon brothers to inform them we were cancelling our appointment as we had decided to go with another company. We received an email inquiring for more details to which we responded and included that the company we decided to go with we chose based on the relationship we had developed with the representative, their ability to meet our timeline, the personal touch and their incentive options.   Easy process, incredible customer service. Our sales rep was so thorough and answered questions instantly. We were kept informed along every step of the process. And our install team was thorough, attentive, respectful and clean. We are so grateful to have our Powerwall - and to know we won't lose power now!
