Golden Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in the Boulder area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Golden Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Never heard of these guys before, but they bought my phone number from somewhere and hired a marketing team to book appointments for a consult. I answered the first call, I've blocked the subsequent calls going on about every 7-10 minutes for the last 6 hours. needless to say.. counter-marketing wins. Just thought you guys should know how's it's going.

The installation was great in 2017, but after it was installed, they won’t return a call or email. My system has been down since mid January, and just found out about it yesterday when Xcel came out to change the meter. I called and left a message with service in the morning, then sent am email in the evening, 36 hours latter and they still have yet to contact me. (I guess they are too busy selling new systems). This is twice now since the installation that they are too busy to service what they sold. So I made an appointment with another company to come diagnose my system for early next week.

Before you buy from I would strongly recommend you call their service department and see how long it takes to get a response. Updated review and rating: I have to say that the service was 100% excellent once the team responded and was on site. Apparently they had some service delivery issues for a while. Hopefully, that is all sorted now.

☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ As a realtor serving Golden, Applewood, and the greater Denver metro area, I often run into solar questions during real estate transactions. Solar can sometimes be tricky when buying or selling a home, but my recent experience with Golden Solar in Golden, Colorado was absolutely fantastic. Sean, the owner, was incredible to work with. Both my client and I felt completely taken care of throughout the process. His communication was top notch from start to finish, which is so important when coordinating solar work alongside a real estate transaction. The team he sent out was profession

Came out and did not try to upsell me, but gave me an estimate on how to optimize my 15+ year old solar array. The did it below budget and even came up with some second hand panels that more closely matched my existing ones. Great experience from start to finish.

From estimating through installation, Golden Solar was great to work with. Luke Durgin made the installation and start up as simple as it could be. Thanks Luke.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Financing

“solar panels, as well as an array of financing options. Our solar contractors are extremely…”

• Warranty

“installed with a comprehensive labor warranty Quickly increase your return on the…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on HomeAdvisor. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
