Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Colorado Springs. Across Colorado, 119 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 86 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Colorado Springs, on one axis

Each mark is one company we hold in Colorado Springs whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Proud American Electrical & Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

  • 1★ · around August 2024

Absolutely the worst service, quality, and professionalism I have ever seen out of a company.

  • 5★ · around June 2026

I called Jesse for advice on a wireless system and he gave me great guidance. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to help.

  • 5★ · around June 2026

Great service and excellent electrical work. I have used them for two jobs(so far).

  • 5★ · around May 2026

Knowledgeable. Friendly. Professional. The three guys that came out to install the outlets in my garage were really great. They knew what they were doing, they put the plugs where I needed them, and showed me a couple of things that I may need to look at having corrected down the road. I would have absolutely no issue calling on them again for any future electrical needs or any potential problems I may have down the way. Highly, highly recommended.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“systems, as well as offer a lifetime warranty on all labor and back all limited…”

  • 24/7 availability

“is there to help with same day emergency Service calls from burned up outlets to storm…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Colorado Springs is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
