The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 438 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Horrible customer service!! The owner said he won't help me till I take my comments off Google. The salesman promised my pregnant wife and I a $18 electric bill after installation, and ours is still over $100 plus solar now. These guys are a scam. They never provided an adequate system for my houses needs and only supply you with an extra bill that sustains half your electricity. If you want some sketchy people at your house drilling panels through your new roof give these guys a call. Otherwise enjoy life less stressful and intact.

Bad experience with this company. Backed out of the contract and was never told I needed to file a form to do so just figured it was done and over with because that’s what the employee made seem like. A few weeks later another employee called asking why I decided to back out, if it was something they could’ve done better. Just replied I had just decided not to go through with it. Then, another few weeks went by and I was getting call after call about installation? So I finally called back and told them I had already backed out a few months prior. They asked who I spoke with. Gave them the name

Solarise would not be my first choice if I had the chance to purchase solar all over again. My main problem with the company revolves around their "guarantee" to generate enough electricity to cover your usage. They informed me just prior to my purchase that they would review my yearly electric consumption. They stated that at any point should my consumption not be covered by my production they would install another panel for free. Absolute lie! I was deficient in my production this winter but when I addressed the issue with the company (to which they agreed I could probably expect larger bill

Solarise Solar did a wonderful job installing a battery backup system for my solar system. Superior work! Great team did my install. Very clean setup.

Solarise Solar made the transition to solar so easy and educational. They provided the best equipment options at a competitive price and took the time to map out exactly how many panels my roof needed. The installation was fast, and the crew was incredibly respectful of my property. I'm already seeing the savings and love knowing I'm doing my part for the environment! If you’re looking for solar definitely go here!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“overseen by a master electrician with over 15 years experience. Most average size…”
  • Insured

“fully licensed, and adequately insured. Further, confirm that each installer…”
  • Licensed

“and then comparing estimates from licensed solar installers, you can determine…”

Its website also mentions financing, warranty and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
