    75 year old woman living alone with working solar system, lead acid batteries and backup generator had concerns about batteries failing. Called Sun Solar Off grid who conviinced her to go with lithium batteries(full payment up front; their policy). Oops, now need new charge controller and new inverter(full payment up front). Did installation and system working. So far they get 4 stars. System failed within two days(low battery indication). Called Sun solar(they offer a 15 year warranty). After repeated calls they finally responded (your panels are weak and your gen is too small (no solutions).

    I got a message from these guys offering their services on facebook. I gave one joke reply and let them know I was not interested. I fully intended on referring some family to the company until I got the response in this picture. This kind of disrespect to a possible customer or referee is unacceptable from a business.

    I contracted Sun Solar, Mike and Ren Ray, to build an off-grid system with solar, 2 wind turbines and a generator. What a disaster. The system was dramatically undersize and wired incorrectly. We were told that there was a "supply chain" issue, and the wind turbines would be delayed. They came out and started on January 8-9, 2022, and didn't return till April 1. I had to pick up my generator, we contracted for a 14KWH generator found out they gave us a 12KWH generator. On April 2, 2022, after 1 day off the grid, the system caught fire. Mike said he would be out to fix it. Sun Solar never retur

    There was a little confusion about the monitoring app login at first, and I got frustrated trying to set it up myself. Their customer support guy stayed on the phone with me for almost twenty minutes until everything connected correctly. Since then, the system has been working perfectly.

    I have written maybe 10-15 reviews in total for Google. Maybe less. I rather say nothing unless I have something good or maybe even great to say. I have no words for for how grateful I am for Ren and Mike. I called them blindly because they are Authorized Victron Dealers and I had an electrical issue in my camper van. I called and Ren said I lucked out, they were going to be in C.S. for the day and maybe they could come look at it this afternoon. WHAT? She and Mike are Total Gunslingers who got me out of a jam. It's not what they do so much anymore. You got to get lucky like me. I've had sever

    As amazing as it may sound, Mike and Ren responded to our emergency call the same day we contacted them. We were not prior customers and they drove from Cripple Creek to our house in Allenspark to investigate damage from a lightning strike. They were able to bring 1 solar array back on line. Cannot wait to have them install our new control system. Thank you so much!
