Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 383 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 84 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

This is my review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Renergy solar system installation and the subsequent lack of support from Gary. We purchased a four-battery Generac system, and one of the battery packs had been non-functional and incorrectly installed for over a year. Despite numerous attempts to contact Gary via phone and email, our concerns have been ignored. It was only after I directly involved Generac and detailed the difficulties in communicating with Gary that any action was taken. I sent an email on September 29th 2025, to which Gary responded, but as of October 21st 2025,

Gary is a great provider from the beginning to the end of the project! He took time to do research to see what our solar power benefit would for our particular situation & usage. The work was done very professionally in conjunction with our builder and roofing contractor. We also appreciated how they worked carefully and cleaned up after themselves. Gary took as much time as we needed to explain our system to us. He was available and quickly responded to our communications. We highly recommend Renergy!

Renergy exceeded expectations start to finish. From the initial site visit, throughout coordination with the utility company, and especially during the installation process everything went according to plan. The crews that installed and tested the system were punctual and conscientious of our property. Renergy provided strong communication, proactively giving status updates both on-site and by phone. Whenever we reached out to the Renergy team, they were quick to respond and address any questions or concerns. The Project Manager was in contact with us regularly to communicate progress and coor

I am writing this to make the public aware of Renogy Solar. They are an excellent company in the solar field. Gary, Arnold, Louis, and Stefan were honest in their hours and expertise working on my 19.5 kw system. They figured out the problems due to my original panel wiring and fixed all. I will use these people again and if you are thinking of solar you should contact them!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“managing international programs for over 30 years and holds the following…”

Its website also mentions established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
