Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Columbia. Across South Carolina, 50 of the 101 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in Columbia, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★65%

Each mark is one company we hold in Columbia whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Renu Energy Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

So far, my experience with Renu Energy Solution is very positive. Daniel Moore visited my property and explained everything from the quotation to the installation timeline. Daniel was very knowledgeable and friendly. I am looking forward to the next step of my solar energy installation.

Daniel Moore from Renu Energy did excellent job getting me a good price for my solar panels and power battery. I highly recommend him. i'm 90 years old I know the solar panels will outlive me. but I think thy are worth the cost.

Renu Energy Solutions is the best Solar provider out there hands down. Excellent service and very Professional. Daniel Moore worked and walked us through the whole process along with the entire staff that set up the site survey, and the Installation. Daniel coordinated with the whole Team to make sure everything was spot on and we were happy post install. If I ever had to purchase again Renu would be my only choice. Just to say one more thing. During the past storm a few months ago. We had solar power and battery back up when everyone else was out for days. Solar ran During the day, and Batter

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

    “an in-house after-sales service and warranty... ” Nadine B. “ Working with Renu…”

Its website also mentions financing, established and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
