Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Lowell area. Across Massachusetts, 81 of the 198 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 152 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Lowell area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. ReVision Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

As a motivated new customer looking to go solar, I reached out with urgency and transparency to ReVision Energy submitting a form in their web, and Anna Heard called me then I called back. Hoping to align installation with the federal tax credit timeline I misalign the possible reality. While I understand the schedule may have been very tight, that does not justify the disrespectful treatment I received in comparison with other serious companies that gave me serious support and advice to move forward with a different timeline. The co-owner and employee Anna was dismissive, prepotent, and hung

I want to be clear that this review is for Sunbug's service & support as we were satisfied with the original installation in October 2019. The service and support is frustrating. In October 2022, I noted one of the panels in our installation was no longer producing power. Multiple phone and email messages to seek guidance for what might be wrong and get a repair estimate; none of these communications were returned. After about 4 months, I finally managed to speak to the person responsible for service to get an estimate of the costs, which I felt were quite high. At that time, we decided not to

Never again. Unless you contact sales it's a huge wait to talk to anyone about maintenance. I waited weeks for a callback with several more calls. The sales people will try to upsell you even more panels, replacing panels you have and also seemed uninterested unless I mentioned a big enough project. Poor customer service. This company bought SunBug, which was dream company to work with but that level of attention is gone. Find another company. They only respond to big new jobs.

Excellent job honoring warranties! Revision took over a solar company which initially did the install at our house (install was from an earlier era solar install with different wiring practices which turned out to be problematic in some cases with New England snow/ice). Anyway, Revision did a good job of fixing what turned out to be a trickier problem than it initially looked. I've also liked the guys they put on our job.

Revision provided service for our nonfunctioning solar array that was installed in 2019 by Sunbug Solar. The process of getting service set up was slow and somewhat of a pain. However, after a two month process, our array was serviced by Aidan from Revision who got the array up and running with just one visit to our home.

Solar companies are 10 a penny. And not all are to be trusted with cheap quotes who then sub contract and disappear. Not so with ReVision who have been outstanding - their care and discipline to training was one of the reasons we picked them, and while after triple bidding a couple of competitors had beaten them on price, it turned out both had hidden costs or were going to scoop up the rebates. ReVisions complete honesty and transparency came through and we're so very pleased. The installation of a large array of 47 panels was done in quick time, in a matter of 4 days - and their humor, human

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

    “We’ve been making an impact since 2003. 19,678 projects installed $ 74…”
  • Years in business

“by our peers and customers for over 20 years straight. But don’t just take…”

Its website also mentions 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
