Had good experience with installing the system, then rooftop installed a battery system back up for us, and sold us on we would have power when APS was down. However, with the grid down, our battery system lasted three hours after dark. The entire system went down and the next day with full sunshine we have zero power. I’m going to buy a generator because no one at roof. Returned my call or done anything to help with this situation very disappoint. I would consider going with someone who can provide

Wow. Reading all the great reviews I’m even more frustrated by the abysmal service we’ve received with our large ground mount solar install out here north of Williams. The Rooftop sales guy gave us the impression it would be wrapped up by August at the latest. Here we sit with tens of thousands of dollars of equipment and still weeks away from being up and running. Nothing but weeks of excuses layered on weeks of excuses. Poor communication. Flat out incorrect information. Unfulfilled promises. I just don’t get it. Why in the world have we been treated so poorly when it’s clear this company ha

The initial install and system were great and we love it! BUT, make sure you ask them how much they will charge you to remove the panels in case you ever need to replace your roof. $8600 for about 1/2 a day of labor (2-3 guys) to remove and then 1/2 day of labor to put panels back after the roof was replaced. That really soured my enthusiasm for this company and I’ve struggled recommending them to anyone since that happened. I really needed to have my roof replaced so I didn’t have much of a choice, and I think they knew that.

Rooftop solar installed my system in Prescott Valley. They did a great job and I have had the benefit of solar for about 3 years. I highly recommend them!

I want to say thank you to the Rooftop Solar team for the installation of my Tesla Powerwall 3. What a positive difference it has made to my APS monthly bill. The installation went flawlessly and the system has been working great since it was turned on thru APS in February 2026. I highly recommend Rooftop Solar and couldn't be happier!👏👏👏

Good to work with. They handle the permitting, the solar panel purchase and the installation. It is a pretty efficient process. Rooftop Solar is responsive to questions and advice. My 9.5 kW systems works great. The addition of a Tesla Powerwall is highly recommended. Couldn’t be happier.

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
