Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Arizona. Across Arizona, 158 of the 269 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 138 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Apparently not stopping at a red light fully to turn right, yes I know its legal, means nothing to people who drive a Tesla truck with THE COMAPNY LOGO ON THE SIDE AND BACK OF THE TRUCK means nothing. Thank God this person didn't hit the kids on the corner. I'm happy they give people great service, sounds like it, maybe just take a driving course first. If you are going to drive like a crazy person maybe don't do it in a company truck.

Been with Solar One for about 9 or so years. Never a problem t they could not take care of, until the inverter went out. Now they say I need a new inverter and it will cost me $1900.00 for replacement. Why, it's suppose to be covered!????

Whoever is driving their solar van today at 8:30 am in camp verde is a very unsafe driver. Going 60 in a 40 mph zone and not using turn signals to switch lanes.

Every time I interact with anybody from Solar One, whether it is a telephone person, an estimator that comes to physically look at my property, the technicians who did the installation work; all absolutely five star spectacular! If I wasn’t already retired, I would ask for a job with this company. Customer service like this does not exist in America much anymore. This is a company that should be very proud of itself

Thanks to the whole crew for making the entire experience positive, timely communication and impeccable support throughout the process. Very much appreciate the level of professionalism!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“with. Very transparent with cost, warranty, etc. They have been very responsive…”

  • Years in business

“& licensed installers have over 20 years of experience , so we get it right,…”

  • Licensed

“ups . Our electrical engineers & licensed installers have over 20 years of…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
