Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Quartzsite area. Across Arizona, 136 of the 269 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Quartzsite area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Verde Solar Power is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I see a lot of positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience was not a good one. I contacted the company for assistance with an existing solar inverter that was displaying an error following a utility power surge. My expectation was that the technician dispatched would have troubleshooting experience with solar inverters and electrical diagnostics. Upon arrival, the technician immediately suggested the inverter likely needed replacement before reviewing the error code or diagnosing the issue. During the visit, manufacturer support was contacted for guidance, but basic troubleshooting steps

Lisa with Verde Solar was really helpful, she went out of her way to help me. When we spoke on the phone, she asked me what was going on with my solar on my home. She walked me through some ideas on how to fix the problem I was dealing with. After 45 minutes she had my solar up and running. Lisa was so helpful as my solar company went out of business and I had no one to call and help. She was extremely patient with me as we worked through the process together. Thank you so much for the help. Solar is back on producing!

Verde Solar Power partnered with me on a very complex solar, battery, inverter project that APS had difficulty understanding and few solar companies had the expertise to pull off. Dean the owner did a great job staying on APS to get …

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

“grid-tied and off-grid solar systems since 1988. With the advent of the current tax…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
