Its one and two star share is 9 points above the typical installer in New York. Across New York, 65 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 19 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I called three times now for three weeks for customer service and I never get a response.

  • 1★ · around May 2026

They sent a plan and took my deposit, then referred a terrible company to fix my roof in preparation. However, when it came time to add the solar panels, they just stopped responding. The only recent communications I’ve had from them are texts asking me to refer them, which I’m definitely not doing.

My original solar company “Sun Power” went out of business and Sea Bright Solar was contracted to help me out with an issue with squirrels getting underneath my solar panels and chewing the wires. They were professional and EXTREMELY helpful! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Sea Bright Solar! Thank you for your help!!

Enrique has just left after resolving the issue with my solar panels. He found the root cause of the problem (water ingress due to improperly sealed end caps on 3 panels). The output breaker had tripped taking 5 panels off line during the recent stormy weather. He sealed up the end caps and verified all cables into the breakers were tight. He also found a problem with the CT installation which he corrected. I was very impressed with his knowledge, workmanship, and patience (with me as I peppered him with questions). Please pass along my appreciation to his supervisor. I am very pleased with Se

Sea Bright Solar has always had our back maintaining our 138KW solar array. Oh, yes, Tim Schroeder is a genius.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“at affordable prices with an array of financing options. Explore Residential Solutions…”

  • Established

“to coast save money—and the planet! Since 2003, Sea Bright Solar has helped…”

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
