The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 26 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Purchased a solar system from them 2 years ago. A micro inverter went out and the part from the manufacturer was free but they want $1000 for the installation. It will take me 10 years to recover that investment. Military owned but terrible customer service. I will never purchase solar from them ever again.

Caution! Do your research and choose your Solar company wisely. I would NOT recommend Semper. This is not just a one time purchase... you are selecting a long term partner. We are on our third inverter in less than 5 years and yet Semper …

They literally installed solar panels on a old roof when they are supposed replace if it's not good enough which they didn't and know we have leaks in the house and the roof is jacked up. They won't take responsibility for not doing the job properly to begin with. Their agent came out and he repaired some of the spots and claimed it wasn't their faults but agreed they didn't fix the roof like they were supposed to in the first place. Never trust them just because they are veteran owned. Still a crappy company. Do better stop ripping people off. May God have mercy on your souls.

Angie was very helpful, professional, and cordial and was able to help me resolve the issue.

Angie C. was proactive in getting my issue resolved. I had originally scheduled a virtual call and the soonest I could do was Friday, 5/29. Angie called me 3 days before and informed me of the background work she’d done after seeing my case and I’m blown away by this type of customer service. It’s thoughtful and considerate. I feel supported and this is how it should always be. Thank you, Angie C!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Veteran owned

“to the fact that Semper Solaris is veteran-owned , founded by a fellow Marine, and…”
  • Warranty

“Cool roof technology & 50 Year warranty HVAC Efficient heating & cooling…”
  • 24/7 availability

“bills Battery storage Power your home 24/7 Energy efficiency Reduce waste and…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
