Its one and two star share is 30 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 149 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 23 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Installation was fine, happy with system itself. Unfortunately we were served on December 26 with a mechanic’s lien due to nonpayment of their panel supplier. I have called, emailed, and gone in person but nobody will speak with me. We paid Solar 360 on their requested time schedule and paid them in full. Per the context lien releases were to be provided but they are refusing. Very frustrated by the lack of communication, and complete absence of professionalism.

Update - Solar 360 ended up paying the material supplier and I received the needed release from the vendor to remove the Mechanic's Lien nearly two months after it was recorded. Overall the system was installed and working as expected. I would have given more stars if the communication was better from the back office after receiving the Mechanic's Lien. I understand that sometimes business operations are not smooth, however, the lack of clarity on the situation and a remedy to fix it was very concerning during the two months. - How can something so good turn into a NIGHTMARE full of sleepless

Our family was skeptical at first because we saw some 1 star ratings but have nothing bad to say. Project went very smoothly, communication with pm was great and paid attention to details. 5 stars earned 🌟 …

I looked at and talked to 5 companies before I decided to go with Solar 360. Charlie at Solar 360 was exceptional in answering all my questions pertaining to solar energy as a consumer. More so, he explained all my technical questions in detail. The price was competitive. I have my system up and running in 30 days after signing my contract. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Charlie and Solar 360 to commission your solar system.

We are about to start our solar panel installation. So far, Benjamin Soza, from Solar 300, has done a stellar job of explaining and presenting the full scope of our project. After being swarmed by constant sales calls from other vendors, we chose Solar 300 based on Benjamin's knowledge, attention to detail and patience in communication of ALL aspects of this project and being available at a moments notice. Most reassuring. M Liebesman

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
