Its one and two star share is 27 points above the typical installer in Virginia. Across Virginia, 9 of the 118 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

After months of being unsure about whether or not we wanted to go with Solar, I’m extremely happy to say that Dawit helped us navigate our doubts and answered all of our questions throughout the entire process. We couldn’t be more happier about our decision and would highly recommend to anyone in search for Solar!

My husband and I decided to go solar in the summer of 2019 after we purchased a home. We also chose to bundle up and get a new roof (yes, roof was eligible for 30% federal credit too!). I did a lot of research and narrowed it down to 4 different solar companies, taking over 2 months to nitpick each one. The quotes greatly varied in price, but we ended up choosing middle-of-the-pack Sigora for the customer service, the system guarantee, and their transparency. I learned a TON about solar panels (grid-tied vs battery vs hybrid, what happens during a power outage, who offers 1-1 credits....), and

Signora has been a great team to work with. They got our new panels installed quick and they look beautiful. They kept us informed of the process with some great documentation and had no problems answers our questions. Aubrey and team where great with the Energy Efficacy Check. They were able to explain to us in easy to understand language what they were doing to make our home more energy efficient and how we could easily make a few more minor updates to get us even more efficiencies. I love checking how much power I make every day and have been singing the praises of solar already.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • The website on this company's Google listing does not resolve to a working page, so we do not link it.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
