Its one and two star share is 5 points above the typical installer in the Allentown area. Across Pennsylvania, 31 of the 146 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 12 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Allentown area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Sky Solar Solutons, LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Note that 7 out of 10 reviews are from 9 or more years ago. I called them out to replace 2 micro-invertors. They found squirrel damage and wanted to take every panel down to the ground, inspect and reinstall. Techs at the suppliers of the panels and microinverters said this was excessive and unnecessary, most of the panels could be inspected in place. Also, was told by Sky Solar that there are no squirrel guards that they trust to prevent future damage. I believe that they were trying to get more work out of me than was needed. I ended up going with a solar maintenance plan provided by the pan

We couldn’t be happier with Sky Solar Solutions. These guys are true professionals and made the whole process easy. Not only was the team/install great but the monthly savings on my peco bills is amazing. Highly recommend this company

Sky Solar Solutions & Steve went up and beyond what could have been expected. They take customer service to a whole new level and treat each customer as a valued important asset of their company. I would highly recommend Sky Solar Solutions for anyone who is looking for a new solar system or a solar provider to take over the warranty on an existing system. They are extremely honest and treat all potential customers with the upmost respect!

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
