Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in Plano. Across Texas, 296 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 32 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Plano, on one axis

Each mark is one company we hold in Plano whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar eTribe is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Avoid this company! I installed a number of systems for him. Almost every job we would argue about compensation, as he tried to lowball me at every opportunity. He would also constantly ask me to keep important information from the customer. When I finally had enough of our relationship, he did not fully compensate me for my last project. I’ve spoken to a few of his customers, and they are not happy with how he treats them once he’s been paid, as if they no longer matter.

So I call the number on the website , the person says “who’s this… how did you get this number” literally dude it’s on your website on the call us section . I’ve spoken to 10 local solar companies in Dallas and this is the only one that acted like he didn’t care at all. Listen the quotes I’ve gotten are like 30-45k and I’m calling you guys for something I want to buy that is a high ticket item. At the very least act like you care and don’t say “send me your electric bill and then we can talk” not impressed at all.

After going through a long list of companies, even ones claiming that they are the number one in Texas and many disappointments and false promises, Solar eTribe, came as the BEST, the cheapest and the most professional. The team was incredible from the moment I spoke to Dilip to the team who installed, highly professional, solar is runing. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience! FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY! DON'T HESITATE CALL DILIP or reach out to me if you would like to know more!

Very nice service, and install everything in time.
  • 5★ · around August 2025

Very professional. Dilip was amazing and very competitive with the pricing, Mandy provided ample communication throughout the process and Daniel was amazing during installation. He and his team were very professional and neat with the work making the installation look pretty. All around very happy customer.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions financing, free estimate, years in business and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on LinkedIn, Facebook and X. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

As Google published them when we last read the listing, not a live check. Ring before you drive anywhere.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
