Its one and two star share is 23 points above the typical installer in Florida. Across Florida, 70 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 4 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

A complete crook. The system he sold us is not even close to what he promised. Do not do business with this company as it's all lies....

First you should understand that solar pirates does not install your new solar equipment. He or they are just a salesman. Solar pirates are knowledgeable and helped me pick the correct equipment but they are very misleading and make a lot of promises that they do not follow through on. Suntuity was the company that installed my solar and who you will be in contact with after purchasing. I did not know this and was led to believe that solar pirates would install the equipment but you will not hear from them again after you sign up for your installation and make a payment. Solar Pirates price point, equipment offered and professionalism far exceeded the "big" solar companies we met with prior to speaking with them. I am happy to report we are now saving a large amount of money every single month now that we have stopped throwing our money away to FP&L thanks to Solar Pirates. They took great care of us through the entire process and made it very easy for us, answered every question we had and took care of everything. Honestly the only thing we are upset about is we didnt find them sooner to start saving money years ago. If you are reading this you should absolut

We couldn't have asked for better service from start to finish. They made going solar the easiest decision we could have made. We are now away from our electric bill going up constantly and now we pay 1/3 of what we regularly dealt with. We support our local businesses especially because of people like them.

What reviewers keep mentioning

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
