Its one and two star share is 9 points above the typical installer in the Salt Lake City area. Across Utah, 57 of the 167 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 195 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Salt Lake City area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Wholesale is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I unfortunately cannot recommend this company anymore. I was pretty excited about this project. Two large YouTubers I watch regularly promoted them and the process seemed incredibly easy. While they did ship me my kit. And it was easy to install and the permitting was incredibly easy. I had nothing but issues when it came to communication. The company they used to draw up the plans, Cubix power, messed up the email to my local utility and caused the project to be delayed for almost an entire month. The tax credit was ending so timeline was tight. I only found out due to my contact with the uti

I have tried reaching out to this company after our solar contract was passed to them when another solar company went out of business. They are VERY hard to reach. They have lately just stopped answering the phone when I call. A few months ago, I actually reached someone in their office, but she said she couldn't answer my questions and someone else would call me back in a few days. After calling back once a week for 4 weeks, I still never got my questions answered or even got a single call back. UPDATE: It has been 7 MONTHS since anyone at this company responded to me. They just stopped answe

The whole reason I went with this company was for their customer service and support with ordering, sizing and permitting. With that said the physical products they sent were fine. Although you can probably skip the middle man (solar wholesale) and source the entire kit from their supplier signature solar for cheaper than they charge the consumer. All in all, my experience was quite poor. The plans/instructions were fairly minimal. They made several mistakes when ordering. Which resulted in multiple shipments spanning months to deliver. They forgot items in the shipment. Also, didn't include t

Update: its June 2025 and I have working panels (since April). I started working with them in June of 2024, its nearly March of 2025 and still no panels. Every time I actually get a hold of someone they either say they'll call me back soon (only to not) or that i should hear back from them within 2 weeks to only have me follow up 3-4 weeks later with the same they'll call me back. I'm incredibly disappointed. Cubix (the install company) let me know the communication breakdown was Solar Wholesale's fault, I don't know whose fault it was or is but I became my problem.

We had a great experience with Solar Wholesale with one caveat. From the outset, Konner did a great job with the initial mockup and changes we wanted to make. Design and permitting changes were handled by Taneel, and went very smoothly. I actually enjoyed installing the system of 28 panels along with EG4 equipment. Our local AHJ and Pacific Power here in Bend, OR were helpful, and easy to work with. The one aspect we are less than happy with is the "Imperial Star" panels. I wish I had asked more questions and maybe done a bit more research. These panels have not come close to meeting the desig

I am extremely pleased that I chose Solar Wholesale for my DIY solar project. When I decided to install my own solar system, many of my family members, friends, and neighbors thought I was too old to take on such a challenging project. Thanks to the outstanding support, guidance, and encouragement from the entire Solar Wholesale team, I successfully completed the installation myself, with the exception of having the solar panels lifted onto the roof. I am proud to say that I may be one of the oldest people to successfully complete a DIY solar installation. This project gave me confidence, kept

We are very happy with our rooftop solar system from Solar Wholesale that was installed by Parker Solar Solutions. There were a few kinks in the process but ultimately we saved a lot of money. We are also happy with our new electricity bill! Installing rooftop solar is a long process and a commitment, but be patient and the energy freedom is well worth it.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
