Tesla solar products are the absolute worst. If you are considering their products, DON'T DO IT! We had solar installed on an asphalt shingle roof. During the first rainstorm afterwards, we discovered a lot of leaking water in our attached garage. Tesla refused responsibility, even when presented with multiple forms of documentation from the roofers who performed repairs. So that was an additional $13K lost due to Tesla's negligence. We are currently experiencing issues with our solar system, and Tesla is again refusing to assist for two reasons: we had the system reinstalled properly by anoth

The installation was handled with care, and they explained every step of the process before moving forward. I was impressed by their ability to adjust the layout on the roof when we discovered one side had too much shading. They adapted quickly and still kept the schedule. The system looks well put together, and I feel secure knowing they used high-quality mounting hardware. I’ve checked the monitoring data, and the panels are producing very close to the numbers projected during the initial consultation.

Tesla Solar completed our solar installation for a newly built home and the experience was handled very professionally. They worked directly with the builder and electrician to coordinate the timing so the solar array and inverter system could be integrated without delays. I appreciated that they explained panel efficiency ratings, expected annual production, and maintenance recommendations in language that actually made sense. The crew also kept the jobsite clean and organized each day which helped because construction was already hectic. Once the system was activated they checked that the mo

I recently had a solar plus storage system installed and the overall process went smoothly from consultation through final inspection. The crew explained how the photovoltaic panels, inverter, and battery backup would work together so we could still have limited power during outages. They paid close attention to the roof flashing details and made sure everything looked tidy after installation. During the permitting phase the office staff stayed in contact regularly and answered emails quicker then I expected. The installers also tested every component carefully before activation and walked us

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
