Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 11 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I met Carol and Upstart Energy almost by accident and I had nothing but a great experience with her putting together my solar system design. She is a great rep for Powur and they have a smooth onboarding and project management process. Highly recommend!

We went to Carol's solar presentation, signed on with her, and within a few months had our solar system installed. She was helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable!

Our interest in the possibility of going solar lead us to the YouTube videos by Carol Cole-Lewis. The videos were really informative and inspiring. So we contacted Carol, who is a delight to work with. We talked on the phone, had discussions via zoom and she came over to our house several times. Over a period of time we learned what we needed to know to feel comfortable to buy a solar array system for our house. Carol was with us each step of the way and gradually we felt comfortable in committing ourselves to this process. Her concern about the health of our planet and that each of us has to

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Lakeport is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
