Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in Virginia. Across Virginia, 53 of the 118 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 92 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Virginia Energy Solutions made going solar so much easier than I expected. From the first consultation to the final installation, the team was knowledgeable, patient, and answered every question I had without any pressure. They walked me through the whole process — permits, system design, financing options, and what to expect with my utility company — so I always knew what was happening next. The installation crew was professional, showed up ahead of scheduled time, and left the property clean. Since going live, the system has performed exactly as promised, and my energy bills have dropped not

I had a lot of doubts about going solar because I’ve heard horror stories from friends dealing with unreliable contractors. Thankfully this experience turned out much better than expected. The scheduling team communicated clearly from the start, and every appointment happened close to the promised time. The installation crew worked through a really windy day and still stayed focused and professional. One technician even took extra time explaining how to read the inverter lights in case I ever noticed an issue later on. We did have one panel temporarily stop reporting in the app during the firs

We finally decided to install solar after talking about it for almost two years, and this company made the process feel manageable instead of overwhelming. The consultant actually listened to what we wanted instead of immediately trying to sell the biggest package possible. He even suggested a smaller system because our energy usage didn’t justify the larger setup. Installation took place over two days, and the crew was respectful the entire time. One of the workers noticed my son’s basketball hoop blocking part of the driveway and politely moved it back exactly where it was afterward. There w

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions financing and 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Midlothian is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
