Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 18 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Vision Solar does good work and the system works as it should. Happy with my interaction with him.

Vision Solar is the 3rd company I have worked with over the past 5 years and without a doubt BY FAR the absolute best! Jordan quickly responds to messages, arrives on time for appointments, is very knowledgeable about different solar options, has extremely fair pricing, and is the only company I would consider working with moving forward. I wish I would have found him sooner after really challenging experiences with another solar company out of Boone, and one in Asheville.

I reached out to Vision Solar NC while planning to upgrade my outdated solar setup. From our first phone call, Jordan demonstrated his extensive knowledge and a willingness to listen to my input when designing the system. When it came time to install the equipment, Jordan and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job. I love my new solar setup, and it is performing beyond my expectations. In an industry filled with companies that often prioritize profits and use subpar materials and installers, it was refreshing to work with a true craftsman who is passionate about his work in d

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on HomeAdvisor and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Wilmington is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
