Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Antioch area. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 25 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Antioch area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. ACDC Power is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Highly Recommend ACDC POWER! We had an amazing experience working with ACDC POWER for our home solar installation. From the first consultation to the final activation, everything went smoothly. The team was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely interested in helping us save money while going green. What stood out most was their honesty — they didn’t try to upsell us or push anything we didn’t need. They walked us through the numbers, answered all our questions (and there were a lot!), and gave us a realistic picture of what to expect. Installation was fast and super clean. The crew showed

I recently had solar panels installed at my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the first consultation to the final installation, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. They took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood the benefits of going solar. The installation itself was smooth and completed on time, with minimal disruption. The crew was respectful of my property, cleaned up thoroughly after the job, and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. They also helpe

Knox and the team at ACDC Power Solar Energy were great. They took the time to explain our options with zero pressure. They helped us with all the forms and applications and managed the entire installation and inspection process without our having to lift a finger. We are thoroughly satisfied and have already recommended them to many of our friends and family.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“and operations managers brings over 10 years of industry experience to each…”

Its website also mentions financing and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
