The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 53 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

These guys removed and replaced my Tesla solar panels for a roof repair from Martinez Roofing. They damaged my inverter and used incorrect brackets causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. They refused to cover the cost of repairs or make the repairs. Low integrity business that preys on kind veterans. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Response to owner. Please see attached photo directly from Tesla. We have been contacting the roofing company the entire time but you refuse to come warranty your work. Even Martinez roofing owner expresses regret working with you. It's very disingenuous that you wo

I called Alt E to talk to them about a true off grid solar solution. I was told that they don't do off grid systems. I then proceeded to ask a few questions to see if maybe the could still help me design and sell me equipment for my system. I was told in a very rude way that I didn't know what I was talking about and that was the reason they quit doing off grid systems is because people like me who don't know anything. I am not sure why they don't do "off grid" systems and I am not sure why they refused to help me, but they definitely lost a customer that was ready to purchase equipment.

We had solar panels installed on our office building last month. One afternoon there was a sudden rainstorm and the crew immediately secured all equipment before leaving. They came back early the next day and finished everything properly instead of rushing. Professional attitude from start to finish.

The workers were respectful from the moment they arrived. They removed their shoes before entering the upstairs area and even apologized for the drilling noise around lunchtime. One cable connection needed adjustment later that evening, but their technician returned the next morning and handled it quickly.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
