Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Fort Collins. Across Colorado, 122 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 33 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Fort Collins whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Colorado's Reliable Electric is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Reliable installed a full home Generac generator recently. The crew was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Fantastic experience.

For the last 10 years Andrew, and now his crew have taken care of my off-grid generator and for the last 3 years, a complete solar system. Besides their professionalism and competency I have found them to be fair, honest and genuinely interested in my off-grid needs and satisfaction. I feel fortunate to have them just a phone call away! We are 100% off grid. Our old system quit on us. Called Colorado Reliable Electric to get a quote. They were very responsive and very helpful walking us through their system. They were able to get us into the schedule in a timely manner which really helped us as we had family coming to the cabin. We are very happy with everyone we worked with and how professional they were. Very happy with our new system and the install. Highly recommend them.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
