Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in the Atlanta area. Across Georgia, 47 of the 80 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 105 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

On the Georgia ranking

The strongest review record in Georgia →

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in the Atlanta area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★35%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Atlanta area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Alternative Energy Southeast, Inc. is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

  • 5★ · around August 2026

These guys were great from day one. They explained everything very well and kept us up to date with every step along the way and always followed up on any questions we had. The installers were very professional, conscientious, and tidy. Overall, a great experience.

Reliable and timely help with an on-the-spot estimate prior to the service call.

AES is an outstanding and friendly company to work with. They installed my power wall and solar systems in 2022. I could not have gotten a better company for my solar needs.

Reviewer names are not published here. Negative reviews are shown first because they are the ones a listing hides, not because they are more representative.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“We include a 25-year Workmanship Warranty. 10% of our profits go to charitable…”

  • Established

“very well and we've been doing it since 2007. Our team is trained and properly…”

  • Better Business Bureau

“pay you. We have top ratings from the Better Business Bureau , Google , and SolarReviews .”

  • Licensed

“Wireman who is also a state-licensed Master Electrician and dual NABCEP…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
