Its one and two star share is 9 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 424 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Gave me a quote over the phone and when arrived at the house to perform work, doubled the price. Will not recommend them at all.

Best service ever!!!! I’ve always had problems with birds nesting under my panels, and to keep the aesthetic of my house, not install any spikes. Apex cleared out the nests, and relocated them, then pressure washed all my roof tiles, and bird proofed the panels. All the filth from months of bird droppings were cleared away quickly and now the house is looking and feeling better than ever! I was so impressed with their work and utility that I signed up for their deal on quarterly cleanings!

Awesome job by APEX solar cleaning. They are truly professional and not only my solar output increase but bird is now completely out from my solar panel nesting habit. They spend lots of time to putting proper abatement and cleaning not only panel but entire surrounding of the roof. I am so impressed with the work and not only me but many of my Neighour now using APEX service to control bird in their roof

Friendly and good service. Arrived a bit behind schedule but was genuinely courteous and apologized for the delay. Very happy with their service.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Mountain House is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
