Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in the Orem area. Across Utah, 82 of the 167 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Orem area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Orem area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Bell Mountain Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

We had to have our panels removed and reset so we could get a new roof here in San Antonio, TX and the guys y'all sent did an amazing job. Johnathan and the crew were respectful of our property and went the extra mile to ensure we where happy with everything. They improved the layout from the original and made sure it was perfectly square. Thank you for your hard work bro's, I know it was a hot and hard job and you killed it.

We were getting a new roof and Bell Mountain Solar did an excellent job of removing all our solar panels and mounting hardware prior to the roof replacement; then, they promptly put everything back in perfect order when our roof was done.

Friendly quick service! Also, the only solar service in the area that I could find that will work on SMA hardware without an existing account. If Blue Raven Solar has left you hanging, like they did me, Bell Mountain Solar can help you.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
