ES Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in the Orem area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. ES Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Decent equipment but God awful customer support. My inverter stopped working last Thursday and won't draw power from the panels. I was on the phone for TWO hours, and after getting instructions 3rd hand for how to safely remove a panel and troubleshoot something it still didn't work. I was told that I would get a call the next day to schedule an appointment. Fast forward to today and I don't hear back, so I call them. And I get sent to a voice mailbox. The tech works OK but God help you if you ever have an issue

Do not do business with these scammers! First, their reps came to my door, in open defiance of a clearly-posted NO SOLICITING. They said, and I quote, "after it's installed, you'll get a check the next month." A while later, the technician comes by and starts gathering information on my house's solar installation. While we were talking, he men

Your sales rep just came to my house and began by saying they’re from Rocky Mountain power. They then said they partnered with rmp. Gotta train your guys not to lie. They’re a reflection of the whole company.

We had a great overall experience with ES Solar from beginning to end. Now we generate our own power and have backup. That's peace of mind.

ES Solar was great to work with. There wasn’t any high pressure sales and they kept me informed throughout the process. Everyone I interacted with was polite and friendly.

The two young men who came d8d the final process were very knowledgeable and good to work with.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Financing

“for you. We'll walk you through your financing options, including any available incentives…”

• Warranty

“upfront Rate hike protection OEM warranty for parts 100% service coverage…”

• Years in business

“and Battery Backup solutions. With over 16 years of experience, ES Solar is a trusted…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
