The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 203 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.
Every company we hold in the Orem area, on one axis
Each mark is one company we hold in the Orem area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Glyde Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

They are working, not responsible. I have a broken down my solar panel Number answering nobody calling me back they cannot fix it. Do not work with them.

My husband and I initially had a very positive experience. The sales representative was knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and made us feel confident in our decision. Unfortunately, our experience took a turn during the installation process. The installation team incorrectly connected the solar panels to our breaker box, which resulted in half of our home losing power. This was including our water heater. It took several days for anyone to return and address the issue. During that time, the team also damaged our dryer by climbing on it instead of using proper equipment like a ladder

If I could leave no stars I would. The whole process started with a salesman at the door with the solar pitch and the benefits their product would bring and let me tell you, it was the furthest thing from the truth. The salesman told us that Shell was offering this great product that would keep us in the same sort of energy price that we were currently paying at the time, but we would also get the free nights electricity that we were currently getting and that we would get batteries to use incase of a power outage. He told us that the batteries would allow us to continue to power everything th

The install went well I think. I was misinformed on how long the process was going to take. I have issues with my security system not working now. I don’t know what happened there. The new panel was installed so I’m not sure what happened. This will need to be fixed by someone. The customer should not be responsible for this. It is imparitive that my security system is fully functional. There was also work done in the attic I don’t know if the damage was done there as this is where one of the sirens is plus the back up battery. I will wait to see who will be sent out to fix this, please and th

I had been working with Renee, and Andrea to get all the information go Solar, and be part of a program for the approved Texans that will be setup with a virtual power plants to help the state of Texas Power Grid. This will be helping the grid to more sustainable energy to help keeping power on and cut back the brown outs. In the past we had just live with it. Luke Klatke came to help me actually signup to see if we can qualify to be on the program at no cost to us. He showed us that they are going to bring my cost down as long as we make it through all of the steps to get the final approval t

Nich Sheldon at Glyde Solar is absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, he made the process of going solar easy to understand and stress-free. Nich is incredibly personable and genuinely cares about helping people—not just making a sale. He took the time to break everything down in a way that made sense, helping us compare apples to apples with our current electricity usage versus what we’d gain with solar. On top of saving money, it feels great knowing that going solar is also a way to help others. Highly recommend working with Nich if you’re even thinking about solar—he’s the real deal!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

- It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
