Its one and two star share is 11 points above the typical installer in North Carolina. Across North Carolina, 38 of the 130 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 16 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Solar not working and your phone is no longer in service!!! Payed all that money to so we could get our roof done and now whatever you did I can't get fixed because your out of business???

  • 1★ · around September 2024

Final update: we had to contact generac to get this company’s mess fixed they sent out a company called “renu energy solutions” they spent 3 hours making fun of this company’s work. So far my solar works now. Save yourself a headache check out renu energy solutions. Company is ghosting us. Go with another company if you like your house this guy has taken our money destroyed our house and now refuses to fix it. After coming out trashing our gutters, blowing out a pv link, shattering a solar panel, sending 3 different incompetent groups, and doing a half asked job.

We have had some terrible issues from prior installers. Better Tomorrow was extra extra careful with all the employees and parts. They checked the schematics for the original install. Stayed within the budget that I had set. Very happy with customer service.

Very straightforward, clear explanations, kept us informed during the process of installation. Installation was smooth, crew cleaned up as they went. All paperwork with Duke Energy went smoothly.

Chris W. was very personable and a great help to us.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
