The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 477 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Beware-READ READ READ the contract. You tell them you want to purchase everything and be done. Salesperson tells you that they found a loophole by leasing it to you since the Federal Incentives have expired, but it isn’t really a lease and it’s yours after 5 years. Then you receive the contract and find out you have the option to purchase it all at Fair Market Value, renew the lease, or not renew the lease , at which point they come out and remove it all. This is after you pay the low price of $37k before incentives to LEASE everything for 5 years. 🤦🏻‍♂️Very very sketchy. I will say at least

Very rude over the phone and will only install solar panels or power walls if you purchase from them. I purchase this products New from the manufacturer directly and this guys will not touch them.

While most of my experience with Renu was pretty good, the electricians doing the install were not that great. They cut a piece of our trim board that went around our electrical meter. That exposed the house wrap underneath. When confronted, the electrician said “that’s what Tyvek is meant to do - waterproofing “. That was not acceptable, the following day Renu sent another electrician to repair the trim board. They showed up with no materials, nor had time to run to the local Lowe’s. So I supplied them the piece (self cut to length) so they could install. After damaging some hardy board and j

Renu did a fantastic job of explaining the benefits (and costs) of solar electrification, and guided us every step of the way. Special sout-out to our project manager, Ryan, who was always quick to respond to my questions and concerns (which mainly had to do with the interfacing with Duke, not renu's performance). Highly recommend them for your solar design/build team!

Service on our existing equipment today and Barry and EC did a FANTASTIC job. They kept me updated on their arrival time and approximate completion time (which they exceeded my expectations on). Super friendly did a quality repair.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

    “an in-house after-sales service and warranty... ” Nadine B. “ Working with Renu…”

Its website also mentions financing, established and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Angi and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
