  4/29/2026: I hired Sun Service Specialists to completely decommission my 10 year old system because it no longer worked and, although still under warranty, parts were no longer available. The job was supposed to include removing all of the wires and sealing all the holes. Not only did they leave a cut wire sticking out of my roof, NONE of the holes were sealed. I needed a roofer to come out and put temporary tarp over the holes before the rain came that night and it appears I'll need to hire another electrician to remove the wire which (I hope) are not hot/live. 5/3/2026 update: They proceeded

  Contacted them the beginning of August, they charged almost $500 to diagnose the issue. Technician stated that cost would be rolled into final cost (it was not). 2 months later they send someone to fix it and they have a wreck "2 blocks" from my house. Went looking for them and they couldn't be found. They had to send someone back out and "fix" the inverter. Technician said that wasn't the full issue and turned it off and said I'd have to have the site diagnosed again. Grifters. 💯.   I paid $649 for a site survey for recommendations on how to get a set of ground mounted pv panels operational again. Six weeks later the service techs showed up for about an hour and took a lot of drone footage of our place. Three weeks later I got a voicemail from the service manager. When I called him back he said he didn’t know the results of the survey and couldn’t give me any answers or proposals on how to get our system working and that he would have to talk to the service techs and get back to me.   I contacted sun service to check my panels. They did a good job about troubleshooting my system. Paid the $249 deposit, found inverter bad, waiting on replacement. I keep getting emails for $699. Tried calling different days, 14 times and not one-time did I speak with anyone. Left messages and still no reply. The technician that came out was very helpful and polite, can't say that for the rest of them. Changed from one star to 3. One hour after posting a one star, I got a call. Maybe just a coincidence but anyway, the lady was very nice and took care of the problem. They still need to work on

  After going through a very frustrating back and forth with the manufacturer regarding my solar panels, I spoke to Eric to see if he could help me. Unfortunately, he could not right this minute, but he was so transparent, informative and nice that I had to give him 5 stars the minute I got off the phone. After being given the runaround about every aspect of my panels for the last 5 years from every company I've come across, it was such a breath of fresh air to speak to him. If I wasn't selling my house, I wouldn't hesitate to use his company for repairs and maintenance, and I will happily pass

• It posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.
