    I went with 8m Solar because they had good pricing and a good product, so I thought. My system has had problems with one of the inverters ever since the installation. My system has been broken almost longer than not. I am now paying for the system that I bought and is only producing half of the energy. The benefits of having solar is slim even when producing 100%, now it's costing me more than it's worth. These guys have been here 4 times or more and can't seem to be able to install the solar correctly and now once again more problems. Go with another company that can do the job right the firs

    Update 4: Some reason the original sales person called me. Apparently I was supposed to already be told the uniqueness of my electric system that I was unaware of. They neglected to tell me because they assumed I knew because I had previous plans from Tesla that Telsa just never scheduled to install, so each circuit breaker is on it's own battery. Luckily Sal mentioned that while he was here so I could acknowledge it and have an AC unit moved to the other battery. But it's still insanely uneven - one battery dies by 8pm or so and the other goes overnight. Update3: Back to 2 stars. Electric iss

    I DO NOT RECOMMEND. ***UPDATE*** As a result of your comments below. We did not request "free" We requested at cost.. meaning that whatever the equipment costs we would pay, and install for free as all the errors were borne by 8MSolars efforts, or lack thereof. Your installers told me that the did not work as salaried employees for 8MSolar. That they were Independent Contractors hired on a per job basis. I don't know if any company is worse, or any better. These people fail to follow up on many aspects of the transaction. It appears that they could care less about anything other than collectin

    Had a great experience with solar install. 8M employees were all very professional and highly communicative throughout the process. Our city continued to delay final inspection, but 8M folks were all over it and communicated daily with us on the city's delay. So far the panels appear to be functioning just as promised! We are happy with the project and would recommend 8M to any friends in the area.

    8M installed a 7.2kw solar panel system at our home in June 2026. I select 8M from a set of 5 proposals for the project. It turned out to be a good decision. Their sales terms are fair and do not place all of the risk on the buyer. Their process was well thought out, thorough, and the communication and follow up were excellent. Their installation crew was professional, easy to work with, and cleaned up thoroughly after their 1 day. Job turnaround was pretty good as well- I made the contract on April 27th, the installation started and ended on May 28th, and the system was accepted by the electr
