Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Colorado. Across Colorado, 122 of the 216 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 23 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

My experience with Brightside Solar was 100% excellent! Solar installation is a process and after beginning with a national solar business, I learned about YVEA- qualified local solar companies. Thus, I switched to Brightside. Matt quickly responded and was willing to proceed with my ground-mounted system on a steep and challenging hillside. He clearly assessed the potential hurdles and worked through each with solid expertise. He and his crew demonstrated exceptional workmanship, attention to detail, and communication skills. With ongoing Brightside support, I now have a sturdy high-quality G

We finished installing solar panels on our roof a couple of months ago, and it looks great (both outside and inside). Matt and Jake were a please working with; Matt was always available to explain everything patiently and in depth and clearly knows everything you could possibly want your solar installer to know. We had to snake wires down through the house, going behind oven and sink and down through another floor into a bathroom closet, finishing in the garage. No problem - they did the work diligently and carefully, all along making sure it was to our liking. On the outside they made sure th

Matt, Jake and the entire team were 100% professional in their total approach from start to finish. The price was fair; the communication was outstanding whether it was via phone, email or text; they cleaned up every day when on the job and, most importantly, the project was completed ahead of the promised finish date. We highly recommend Brightside for anyone considering solar!

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under roofing. A company that does both roofing and solar can handle the roof work a panel install often needs.
  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
