Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Palm Springs. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 14 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Palm Springs whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. BrightSky Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

If you’re considering going solar, Alex Sorlagas is your guy. I live in California while Alex is in the Eastern time zone, and despite the time difference, he was available 24/7. I was initially hesitant because the system I wanted was large — 38 panels with 2 Tesla Powerwall 3 units — and I wasn’t sure how smoothly everything would be handled. I was actually set on going directly with Tesla since I already own a Tesla vehicle. However, after just a few minutes of speaking with Alex and having him clearly explain what I needed to maximize my solar system, I was completely convinced I was makin

Alex Sorgas was super helpful when I was looking for a solor system. I had been speaking with other solar dealers so when I came in contact with Alex I had already had 4 other quotes as we spoke we compared the quotes and type of materials other company's were going to install and Alex took the time to explain the differences between the Inverters and panels which was super helpful. None of the other company's took time to explain anything just wanted to make a sale. So I purchased my system though BrightSky Solar. To me when Alex Sorgas spent time explaining all the differences it was a no br

Alex was great, demonstrated honesty and integrity throughout the process and provided the best pricing compared to others, making the entire experience smooth and trustworthy. Best of all he was always available to answer my questions directly.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“installers, financiers, and warranty companies the solar industry has to…”

Its website also mentions family owned, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on LinkedIn, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Palm Springs is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
