Budget Safe Solar gave me and our project the personal attention we needed that other solar companies wouldn't. In other words, the nature of our roof was such that it didn't look like it could be that big of a system based on the Google Maps satellite view, but once Budget Safe's team dug into it, we found we were able to get an 8kW system, using the most efficient panels they sell, that would get us the 100% energy offset we were looking for. We're very happy with the end result!

I reached out to them shortly before California utilities were changing their payback rates. They were able to get me quoted and installed quickly so I didn't miss out. I'm a highly technical person and they were able to answer my questions or get the answers quickly. I was notified of the progress weekly, even if it was only to state that there is no update (SCE took a while to officially authorize it). As a side note, always research your options (for vendors, equipment, financing, etc.). If you do not understand your needs, it'll be difficult for any business to provide you with a solution

I have been very pleased with the level of expertise and communication I've received throughout my solar project. My personal rep (Mike) was very patient in explaining everything and I would gladly recommend or use them again on a future project.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Chesterfield is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
