Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Pennsylvania. Across Pennsylvania, 72 of the 146 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 19 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What started as storm damage that took part of our roof and left us without power for over a day (again) ended up being the perfect opportunity to invest in both a new roof and solar. Looking back about a year later, it was absolutely the right decision. Michael, his team at Butterfly, and their subcontractors installed a new roof, designed and installed an 8.6 kW solar system, a Tesla Gateway and Powerwall 3, and a new electrical panel. The project was completed on time, on budget, and with exceptional attention to detail. The workmanship was top notch across every aspect of the project. Sinc

I usually avoid writing reviews, but this company honestly earned one. From the first phone call, everyone sounded organized and patient instead of reading from a script. The installers showed up exactly when they said they would, and one guy even noticed a loose roof tile unrelated to the project and pointed it out before starting work. There was a small issue with the monitoring app not syncing properly during the first week, but their support team fixed it remotely the same evening I called. The panels look much cleaner on the roof than I expected, and neighbors have already asked who did t

We hired Michael and Butterfly to install our solar panel system in Dec 2025. December was particularly cold this year. Michael and his team were on the roof in snow flurries and the cold. They endured snowfall. With all the starts and stops because of the snow, they were able to get the job done before the New Year. The panels blend in great with the roof and the system is running great. Highly recommend.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
