I cannot say enough good things about Carolina Mountain Solar, the people they employee and the products they offer. They came recommended to me from a friend, but I also did my own research. I had spoken with Stuart from Carolina Mountain Solar who answered all my questions and any concerns I had, I concluded that Carolina Mountain Solar was the company I wanted to go with. Their technology, their customer service and their attention to detail gave me great peace of mind. Stuart, was helpful all the way through the process. He explained step-by-step what I would expect. It has been such a pleasure working with Carolina Mountain Solar the last few months. Stewart is very responsive and got back quickly helping with a minor issue from the installation. Luke and the guys are super helpful explaining the system and after installing the second battery cabinet we now have enough storage from the highly effective panels on the roof. Couldn't be happier with the result.

Thank you Megan and Stewart for an honest evaluation of my business structure as to whether it is a good candidate for solar panels. I appreciate the honest advice that solar power may not be the best option for my particular building. It is a great service that you offer.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Licensed

“free to ask our previous customers!) LICENSED Licensed in both NC and GA Why us?”

Its website also mentions years in business and insured, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
