Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 399 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

One thing I appreciated was how respectful the workers were around our property. They asked before moving outdoor furniture and carefully avoided damaging our garden plants while carrying equipment upstairs. Those little details made the experience feel much more professional than dealing with typical contractors.

CMG Solar Solutions is absolutely the best solar company with absolutely the best customer service!!! I purchased 48 solar panels, Tigo optimizers, and hardware. I received my shipment extremely fast! Local pickup on the panels to save on shipping costs. CMG Solar Solutions can get many brands by being a licensed dealer to many companies, including EG4 / Signature Solar. I had many issues trying to find a reputable solar company that was able to get the items that I needed during these crazy times with the solar tax incentive ending. Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Baytown is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
